However, in the long run, all it gives you is rough hair, allergy, and other health issues. On the contrary, if you have intended to try natural methods, you can find lots of natural methods for hair coloring, most of them not proved scientifically. Not to mention the confusion of selecting the appropriate one. And in the case of natural dyes, you will have to apply henna and indigo and this takes a long time.

How to use it?
- Before using Nilini Ayurvedic Hair Color Kit wash your hair using natural shampoo preferably the previous day and make sure there is no oil trace on your hair.
- Empty the contents of one sachet and make a paste using sufficient water and apply it on grey hairs.
- Leave for 30 min- 1 hour and then wash off with normal water.
- Rinse off well and pat dry.
- Once a sachet is opened, use it as fast as possible. Do discard it if opened for more than 3 hours
- Wash your hair with water alone. It is better to wait for 3-4 days before using any shampoo/ shikakai/ conditioner.
- It is better to towel dry your hair and avoid using a hairdryer.
- Store in a cool and dry place.
To Note: There are two 2 sachets in the kit. Results last for up to 15-20 days depending on new hair growth. Re-application is required every 15-20 days. Each sachet is for single use.
Always perform a patch test on your elbow or back of your ears for 30 minutes before using ayurvedic products as 100% natural products can also be allergic to some people.
Store the product in an airtight container as exposure to moisture and air can contaminate the product and reduce its efficacy.

How much quantity of Nilini is required to cover a mid length hair ?
Quantity is calculated not based on hair length, But dependent on amount of greys you intend to color. A kit contains two sachets of 20 g each. Depending on greys as well as how stubborn is the grey, You’d need more quantity. We suggest you start with one packet first, and if required empty and use more as desired. Remember, Patch test is a must.
Can i mix Nilini and leave it overnight in an iron vessel like i generally mix henna ?
Not recommended. After you mix Nilini contains no added stabilizers or agents. It’s a mix of potent Ayurvedic herbs which when exposed to open air for a longer time period, loses its efficacy. So, Please use as suggested. Please understand that it’s not just Henna. Nilini is a mix of some amazing ingredients and Henna is just one among them.
It says, to use within 3 hours if mixed, Why so ?

Can Nilini be used for my kid who is 13 years old ?
Any kind of hair color natural is to be applied or used from 18 years of age. We recommend the usage of NILINI only after 18 years of age and also if patch test is successful.
Can Nilini be used by pregnant and lactating women ?

So, you say to patch test before using Nilini. Say for EG, I make a paste and apply it on the back of my ear. when can i wash it or this 48 hours of checking for any irritation, am I not supposed to wash the test qty I applied or what ?
You can wash off test qty you applied post 1 hour and if possible, while applying mark using a pen the area you applied it to. And after washing off post one hour, You can watch out for any irritation, discomfort, itchiness or rashes for 48 hours.
