Massaging this oil under the baby’s feet and the ear helps them increase blood circulation, improve eyesight, and get healthy brain function. After massaging, leave the baby for about 20-30 minutes, then the oil from the baby is washed using chickpea flour or green gram powder in lukewarm water. This Nalpamaradi oil is suggested to babies above three months. Also, care should be taken while putting the oil in the area near the babies’ eyes. As this oil is made from organic compounds and does not contain any harmful chemicals or parabens, it moisturizes the baby’s skin very well and does not cause any problem to the baby. The only thing we have to think of is that as it contains turmeric, it may cause a stain in the clothes and to avoid this, a separate towel is kept to wipe the babies after bathing. Till now, no side effects have been found with the external application of this oil.
